Membership increases after the first year** Associate Membership available to all who live outside Manhattan. Associate members do not participate in membership meetings.

Membership Benefits

Our Shabbat dinners allow you to relax and experience the Garden of Eden with warm hospitality. Our Rabbi and Ba’al Tefila bring in the spirit and song of Shabbat. Our guest speakers will enlighten and entertain you as you meet new friends and become part of the community. Members enjoy $10 discounts on Shabbat dinners.
The Carlebach Shul offers reduced rates to our members for High Holiday seats. First year members receive High Holiday tickets for just $50 a seat! Members also receive priority admission to our annual Simchat Torah celebration and FREE tickets to our annul Selichot celebration with Yehuda Green at West Side Institutional Synagogue. 
The Shul provides a full array of services for life cycle events including weddings, aufrufs, baby namings, brit milahs, pidyon habens, bar/bat mitzvah instruction and celebrations, with an in-depth preparation for the celebration of these important occasions. We also help our members in times of mourning with funeral guidance and shiva minyanim.
Services as offered by the Shul office: This devoted group of individuals, led by Rabbi Avraham Newman, is dedicated to visiting the sick and helping the elderly.
Services as offered by the Shul office: This important committee helps provide meal accommodations for guests who are visiting for the weekend.

Services as offered by the Shul office: The Carlebach Shul offers the use of our facilities at a reduced rate for our members; prices start at $350. Please call or email the shul office for more details.
Full membership (which is also open to those who reside outside Manhattan) entitles the member to voting rights in the annual election for the Shul’s Board of Trustees.
