Dr. Raphael Kellman is a graduate of Yeshiva University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He is a pioneer in holistic medicine and founder of the Kellman Wellness Center.  He is the author of several books that focus on the frontier of science, medicine and healing.  Raphael is also a student of the great Kabbalist, Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, זצ״ל, of Jerusalem.  Rabbi Brandwein, זצ״ל, is the son of Rabbi Yehuda Tzvi Brandwein, זצ״ל, the highest student of Rabbi Ashlag, זצ״ל, who wrote the first comprehensive commentary on the Zohar, which for the first time in history revealed its concealed treasures. Dr. Kellman is also a frequent lecturer on Judaism and healing.  His lectures include a wide range of subjects, including the convergence of Kabbalah, science and the footsteps of Moshiach and the essence of Judaism and its purpose. He is most passionate about using his background and knowledge to help make the Jewish people a light unto the nations.   The Carlebach Shul strives to provide a beautiful experience for everyone participating in our Shabbat or Yom Tov dinners. A typical dinner commences approximately 2 hours after Mincha begins. These dinners provide a unique opportunity for both members and visitors to celebrate Shabbat together in a lively and inviting setting.
